Two guys are at the bar, one is a regular. They’re staring at a novel. I’m always on the lookout for reading recommendations. I lean over and peer at the title. I ask,
“Is it good?”
The regular answers,
“Yeah, I bet you’d like it.”
The other guy is incredulous,
“You read books?”
